"Global Vision International promotes sustainable solutions for a rapidly changing world by matching you with international environmentalists, researchers and pioneering educators.."

Global Vision International has been running conservation expeditions since 1998 to provide support and services to international charities, non profit organisations and government agencies. Through its international network of over 40 personnel in 20 countries GVI continues to support many of the most critical conservation and humanitarian projects around the globe.

GVI places over 60 people each year in jobs or field work placements overseas and also distinguishes itself by having a proven track record of sending over 850 people away every year for safe, enjoyable, educational and fulfilling volunteer experiences on a variety of projects and expeditions. To date over 1500 volunteers have joined projects resulting in the direct financial support of over UK£500,000 / US $750,000.

GVI Expeditions have gained international approval due to the safe, well-structured, comprehensive and critical research work which they are achieving in the field in partnership with local organisations and their well trained experienced staff.

All GVI Expeditions provide Expedition Members with rigorous training in scientific survey skills, research skills, conservation issues and biological training in specific areas. This is the ideal training ground for individuals looking for international work in the fields of marine biology, zoology, education, environmental programs and much more. International field work opportunities are very competitive and as such organisations can be very selective in the candidates they choose.

It is the local demand for skills and experience such as this that has lead to the creation of Careers Opportunities Abroad. GVI recognises that skilled Ex-expedition members can fill a critical void with local partners, share their skills and knowledge and assist with key projects. Due to the high quality of training and continued experience on an expedition, GVI is continually approached by international organisations looking to recruit its ex Expedition Members. Careers Opportunities Abroad, is the perfect platform for these positions to be made available.
