A Field Work Placement is a two way process, a win-win situation, benefiting both the partner organisation (you) and also the participant who accepts the placement. Not only will you benefit from receiving a trained and skilled intern to assist with a priority project for a short period of time but also this experience provides the participant with an excellent ground onto which they can build on their practical experience, network with local researchers, increase their knowledge and share their skills with an organisation in need. Participants often also benefit from learning new languages, experiencing a new culture and country and simply enjoying working abroad.
