Thanks to the international approval and recognition of Global Vision International's Expeditions, GVI is now able to offer a large range of jobs, internships and other exciting career development opportunities in the fields of education, research and environmental and wildlife management. Both Jobs in the Field and Field Work Placements will provide you with invaluable field work experience to enhance your career. Whereas Jobs in the Field are paid positions aimed at experienced candidates, Field Work Placements are voluntary positions designed for applicants seeking practical field experience for enjoyment or to help launch their career.

Jobs in the field are hard to come by. GVI and selected partner organisations have a number of paid positions available for skilled scientists, divers, wildlife researchers, biologists, zoologists, teachers, development professionals and many more. These positions require experience and offer a rewarding opportunity to work in the field overseas sharing skills with local partners and GVI Expedition members across the globe.
In order to start a career in the field on the right track, experience is essential. These placements available with GVI and selected partner organisations aim to provide participants with the opportunity to build on their skills and knowledge, join in with practical field work, network with local researchers and play an active part in conservation projects around the world. This experience is an invaluable asset and a prerequisite for a career in the field or can simply be an opportunity to continue working abroad following your participation in a GVI Expedition. All applicants must attend a 10 week GVI expedition for selection and training before applying for a Field work Placement.
